Spend five minutes in any trading server and you will see it everywhere: "W or L?", "fair?", "big W". Here is what those words mean and how to answer the question for your own trades.

What W, F and L mean

  • W (win): you get more value than you give.
  • F (fair): both sides are worth about the same.
  • L (loss): you give more value than you get.

Players ask "W or L?" because values change all the time and nobody remembers every number.

How the calculator decides

Our trade calculator adds up the value of everything on each side, using permanent or physical value for each fruit. Then it compares the two totals:

  • If the sides are within 10% of each other, the trade is FAIR.
  • If you get more than that, it is a WIN, and it shows how many percent you gain.
  • If you give more than that, it is a LOSS, with the percent you lose.

The 10% window exists because values are estimates. Two trades a few percent apart are, in practice, the same deal.

When a small L is fine

A loss on paper is not always a bad trade:

  • Demand matters. A fruit with high demand, like Dough, is easier to trade again later. Paying a little extra for it can be worth it.
  • You will use it. If you want a fruit to play with, a small overpay is the price of not waiting.
  • Two for one. Turning several low-demand fruits into one good fruit often makes your inventory easier to trade.

When a W is still a bad idea
